Are you the person to service our members as a District Leader?
The District Leadership Committee (DLC), Chaired by Immediate Past District Director Andy Hammond DTM, is looking for candidates for the roles of Division Director (x7), Club Growth Director, Programme Quality Director and District Director for the Toastmasters year 1st July 2020 to 30th June 2021.
Serving as a District Leader is a great responsibility, but an exciting opportunity to further develop your communication and leadership skills.
Our District’s success depends on the quality of our leadership. The role of the DLC is to find the best-qualified candidates possible to serve as District Leaders. The DLC does not limit itself to considering only those members who have expressed an interest in running, but also seeks out qualified individuals.
The window for applications opens on 1st November 2019 and closes on 5th January 2020. Suitably qualified candidates will be invited for interview by the DLC on either 9th or 16th February 2020. The final nominations will be announced by 4th April 2020. Elections will take place during the District Council meeting on 2nd May 2020.
