Our District Leadership Committee Needs you!
Our amazing organisation is helping you learn and practise communication and leadership skills. As you progress on your journey, you may have already taken on Club leadership roles, supported contests and training events. Now is the time to think about the next step in your Toastmasters development.
The application process for the Program Year 2025/26 District Leadership elective roles (District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director and Division Directors) is now open.
Below are the dates for each stage of the process are:
- 4th November 2024 – Call for candidate declarations
- 2nd February 2025 – Deadline for nominations
- Window for interviews – no later than 9th March 2025. Provisionally scheduled for the weekends of 22nd/23rd February and 1st/2nd March 2025
- 22nd March 2025 latest – DLC notifies District Director of nominated candidates
- 5th April 2025 latest – DLC report and biographical forms emailed to District Council members and posted on District website
- Eligible floor candidates must declare their intent to run in writing to the District Director after the DLC report has been published. Such notice to be submitted at least one week prior to the Annual District Council meeting – no later than 26th April
- 3rd May 2025 – Annual Meeting of the District Council
- By 15th July 2025 – submit Officer Agreement and Release Statements and District Leader rosters to WHQ

*The roles of District Finance Manager, District Administration Manager and District Public Relations Manager are appointed by the incoming District Director. The DLC will take expressions of interest to pass on but will not be interviewing candidates for these roles.
