Pathways has Arrived!

The target for club visits by our Pathways Guides was exceeded, therefore Pathways will be rolled out across District 91 today. A huge thanks to all our Pathways Guides and Ambassadors, and to all the clubs, for the fantastic effort in getting those visits completed.

Every member will receive an email from Toastmasters International at 8pm today, announcing that Pathways is live and including details of how to get started. For those who are super eager, Pathways will actually be live from 2pm and you can access it here once you have logged on to Toastmasters Central.  Members are encouraged to take the assessment and select their first Learning Path straight away, although not required. It will be beneficial to have a number of current members familiar with Pathways so that they can support new members who will only have access to Pathways and not the old programme.

Advice from a Pathways Addict – by Julie Kertesz

I have waited so long for it to arrive! Pathways will launch on the 20th March in District 91! I was not initially chosen as a Learning Master, but 3 years ago I became a Revitalised Education Program (REP) Ambassador, as Pathways was called then. It was difficult to speak about Pathways all those years ago as not a lot of information was available. The first information came from F. Daniels at the Division B Conference, where we all cheered when he told us “no more CL manual and you will have access through internet in all your devices”.

  • the district executive committee reviews and approves the District Success Plan;
  • approves the budget and oversees the financial operation of the district;
  • recommends the assignment of clubs to areas and divisions;
  • reviews recommendations and reports of district committees, including those of the audit committee;
  • performs any duties assigned by the district council.

This year our District 91 is launching the 20 to 20 Challenge. The first 20 clubs renewing 20 members can claim £50 from me, Florian Bay the D91 Club Growth Director, to organise a pizza party celebration for their members and guests.

Just imagine your usual vibrant club meetings with high calibre speakers, analytical evaluators and fun table topics with FREE pizza and refreshments on the top. Sounds amazing? You can make it happen!
