Guided learning with Pathways
Pathways is an evolution in the Toastmasters experience adding extra resources to enable you to customise your learning journey to fit your goals and needs. Choose from six different programmes ranging from Presentation Mastery to Dynamic Leadership.
The Pathways system uses speeches and roles at club meetings as the centre of your Toastmasters experience, but adds online learning resources such as tutorials and videos to help you add to your skills. You’ll experience new opportunities to learn and grow your confidence. You will be supported by your fellow club members and the familiar structure of your club meetings.
Learning Paths and Levels
Each Learning Path is made up of five levels. The program is designed so that you’re always building on what you learned in the previous level. Find out more about Pathways at Toastmasters International:
Members are given access to the Basecamp learning portal at Toastmasters International. Access your learning resources and record your progress here:
Basecamp
Pathways is delivered using Base Camp as a learning management system. Here you can work on projects, track your progress, and view badges and certificates you’ll earn along the way. Base Camp also features resources to help guide you, including videos, quizzes, interactive activities and more.
Base Camp includes online Pathways Assessments which help you identify the Learning Path that best meets your needs. In the assessment, you’ll be asked about your experience, goals, interests and objectives. You’ll then receive a recommendation for the path that best matches your needs, and suggests other paths which might also be of interest.
You can choose to have more than one path in progress at any time. Access to one path of your choise is included in your joining fee.
