What is happening in Division C?
We’re Сhampion C Division with a fantastic mix of great corporate and community clubs. Here are a few highlights on what’s going on at the moment.
Area C2
Lloyds Banking Group Toastmasters ran an Open House session last month raising the awareness of Toastmasters to 45 employees. Members are on track to complete Pathway levels, each member’s goals and aims (for example, doing a speech every 2 months) are documented.
Holborn Speakers has been running hybrid meetings successfully for the last few months. Their membership tally is 41. With lots of newer members they are looking for a President and VP Education to take over the reins. It’s known for being a very friendly club.
Bloomsbury Speakers is a quality club with strong leaders. Know anyone who would like to join? – they’re looking for more members. Fun vibe! Currently meeting online.
Corporate club Connected Speakers London is a high achieving club.

Area C5
St. Paul’s Speakers holds meetings in a beautiful church, close to St. Paul’s at Saint Botolph’s Without Aldersgate. (Take the St. Paul’s tube exit, not Aldersgate!). They are holding a mix of face-to-face meetings and online. Visit them in-person for the delight in the amazing surroundings! Martin Madden and his club will be happy to see you!
Covent Garden Speakers is a vibrant group meeting every Tuesday morning at 7AM! If you want to see a club with a lot of energy, this is the one to check out – and before their first coffee of the day! The club is expertly led by Matt LLoyd-Rose!
Finally, our three corporate clubs – Google UK Speakers, Oracle Netsuite Toastmasters and BT Enterprise Corporate Club – are leaders in their industries! Come check out their meetings, usually held during the day. BT Enterprise Corporate Club is our newest club that is off to a great start in their first Toastmasters year!

Area C34
If you’re an early riser, check out clubs in this area!
Early Bird Speakers – it’s all in the name! They meet at 7AM every Thursday morning. The club has a strong legacy and a strong membership.
City Limits Speakers – also an early morning community club!
Honorary Artillery Company Orators – their venue is simply amazing! Great club too!
Bayes Toastmasters and GS London Toastmasters have had challenges due the environment, like many clubs. Of course, it had an impact on membership but they are rising to the challenge.
Area C58
City of London Toastmasters have started meeting again in-person this September, alternating physical and virtual sessions.
Bloomberg London Toastmasters have recently on-boarded 7 new members and are also resuming physical meetings this September.
On the other hand, 1st London Toastmasters are hybrid-ready but still meeting online until October. They held the Contest Workshop on 27th September.
PMI UK Toastmasters are going strong with multiple speeches per session, including icebreakers, as they gear up for physical meetings later in November.
Last but not least, Meraki Toastmasters UK are planning to hold an Open House event in the coming weeks.
