How do you feel about achieving so much?

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to improve my public speaking skills! Also I was able to learn so many useful new skills such as evaluating, creating a podcast and managing a difficult audience among others. Our friendly Woking Speakers Club is the perfect environment for making new friends and improving my public speaking and leadership skills.

What is your secret to winning the award?

My secret is – say YES to opportunities. If a speaker drops out of a meeting, I am happy to speak. By doing this, I have had more opportunities to speak, learnt new skills that I can apply to my job and my personal life, and helped my committee colleagues who organise the meeting.

What is your next challenge?

My next challenge is to help my club Woking Speakers Toastmasters grow and thrive and have lots of fun.
