Renewals are here again!

Yes, it’s that time of year again! Congratulations to the 24 clubs who won the February Early Payment incentive. By now all the successful clubs will have received formal email notification and information on how to claim their reward. So far 87 clubs have renewed one or more members, and 66 clubs have yet to renew a single member. Ten clubs have so far renewed 20 or more members which assuming they have 5 or more DCP points will mean that they will become Distinguished clubs in April.

80/20 is Back!

Once again District 91 are giving £50 to the first 25 clubs who renew 80% of their members and have 20 or more members on the 1st April 2022. The race is on to be one of the first 25 clubs. Six clubs have already successfully won the incentive so far. Don’t miss out by leaving your renewals to the last minute.

“Talk Up Toastmasters” Successes Already!

As usual Toastmasters International are running the Talk Up Toastmasters campaign where clubs can earn a ribbon to add to their club banner if they recruit five or more members between 1st February and 31st March. As usual District 91 are supporting the initiative with a £50 for the first 25 clubs to spend on either PR, advertising fees or pizza. Congratulations to ten clubs who have already recruited five new members to have already won the prize.

A Busy March to Come

So far five demo meetings are planned for March including a face-to-face demo meeting for a potential new London club. If you wish to take part in a demo meeting, then please respond to the regular WhatsApp appeals for volunteers to help at what are usually fun events.

We have several clubs who will hopefully charter this month as they have 17 or 18 members and are busy looking for new members to join them as so they reach the magic 20 and can charter.

Global Ad Campaign

Later this month Toastmasters International will be launching a 90-day advertising campaign to recruit new members. The campaign will run on LinkedIn in 33 selected districts. District 91 is one of these Districts. The call to action is to visit the “Find A Club” page (https://www.toastmasters.org/find-a-club)  on the Toastmasters Web site. Please ensure that your contact details, meeting locations and times are still correct for your club, so when potential guests and members do contact your club, the enquiry is seen and acted on.

Club Coaches and Mentors

Jacqui the Club Quality Chair and I are still looking for Club Coaches and Nadya the Club Extension Chair and I are still looking for volunteer as Club Mentors. If you want to complete a DTM award, then you need to have done either role. If you are interested, then please let either one of us know so we can arrange for you to work with a club.
