Your path to Distinguished Toastmaster

Achieving your Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters.

In recognition of completing:

  1. Two learning paths.
  2. Serving as a Club officer for 12 months (including participation in the Club Success Plan and attending club officer training).
  3. Completing a one-year term as a district officer (Area Director, Division Director, or it can include being Club Coach only if the Coach is appointed and the club returns to charter strength within the same Toastmasters year).
  4. Successfully complete a Club Mentor or Coach service.
  5. Successfully sponsor a club or manage a Speechcraft or Youth Leadership programme on behalf of your club.
  6. Complete a DTM project.

You will usually receive your DTM Award medal, honouring your important educational achievement, at the District 91 Conference in May each year.
