Welcome to our third transition update with less than two weeks to go to Toastmasters Year end. Lots of news, lots of tips for all our leaders in UK South.
Finishing off this Toastmasters Year in Style
Beat the Clock with Special Year End Events
Well done Grosvenor Square Speakers, the most recent addition to the list of clubs that have achieved “Beat the Clock” – they have added to add five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between May 1 and June 30 in our Hall of Fame! Is your club here yet?
We would love hear more stories of clubs running their special year end meeting where you invite past members and guests to return and celebrate the year’s success with you.
Distinguished Plus, 20+
District 91 currently has the highest percentage of clubs with 20+ members. Only 5 more clubs to get up to 20+ members and we will be at our stretch goal!
We also have a massive 103 clubs that are Distinguished and another 8 clubs have become President’s Distinguished this week, taking us up to 30.
The following clubs have achieved the full 10 DCP Goals – London Cardinals, London Victorians, Berkeley Square, Early Bird, City Limits, Wokingham, Malvern, Speakers of Croydon, MLP, 1st London and WIBF City.
We have 19 clubs with 9 DCP points – how many of you can make it to the magic 10 by 30 June?
We have 13 clubs on the verge of being Distinguished – we are all rooting for you! What will it take for you to get there in the next 10 days?
Membership Growth – Your District Needs You!
A great week this week again – 85 new or reinstated members in our District, including the welcome arrival of new club TPR Speakers, the Pensions Regulator this week, joiningPayments People and Tech Data as our newest clubs in the district.
We have exceeded our targets for distinguished clubs and club growth and lead the world with clubs at 20+ members. Just 1% more of member payments (129 payments) and we will be a President’s Distinguished District.
Please register all new members, returning members and charter any clubs that can charter before June 30 to end the year with pride.
