Steve Vear MBE DTM

District Director
Steve was the Parliamentarian for the previous program year, and served as Division A Director for 18 months back in 2016. As Chairman of a local cricket league, Samaritan and trustee, Steve feels passionately about how voluntary responsibility can offer limitless opportunity and the chance for us to give back. As a previous Regional training officer for Samaritans, Steve is looking forward to driving the training experience and quality of the education and development program that we offer our members through our amazing network of clubs. Whether it be to improve our communication skill, to discover a District Director of the future or to seek out the next World Champion of Public Speaking he is convinced there is something in Toastmasters for everyone, no matter how long you have held your membership number!
From sitting in his first meeting at Wessex Speakers in Winchester to stepping into his first Division contest , Steve is looking forward to working with the DLT to bring the Toastmasters experience to many more people in the coming year.
