We are on the lookout for motivated individuals or teams who would like to make a difference in our District. Here is the list of opportunities in a form of projects which are eager to be completed. And yes, you can apply these projects as part of your Pathways progress and speed up your development as a leader.
Club Growth Support Opportunities
A Club Coach is an experienced Toastmaster who partners with a club to help rebuild membership and restore quality to member experience. One focus for the coach is to help the club achieve recognition in the Distinguished Club Program. To learn more visit the Club Coach Program webpage or complete the Club Coach Training Module in Base Camp.
The Club Sponsor will be the bridge between the future members and officers of the new club and Toastmasters International. The Club Sponsor helps the new club members understand what starting a new club entails and identifies resources to help them accomplish. The Club Sponsor will eventually prepare the paperwork necessary to charter a new club and oversee the Charter Ceremony.
A mentor is a person who shares their knowledge and expertise with one or more people who have less experience. Mentoring a new Toastmasters club is similar in many ways to mentoring a single person. Club Mentors are the advisors and tutors for new clubs and have a great effect on the degree to which a new club succeeds.
There is an immediate opportunity for Club Coach. Further opportunities are anticipated soon.
