Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader:

I have worked in a team environment and been involved in bringing projects to fruition. This has served me in good stead in organising club and Area Contests and in delivering TLI.

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

Not applicable.

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

Limited. I have worked in Finance Departments and I have some basic knowledge. I am not intimidated by the subject however.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

None.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

I have learned that I have the ability to lead people and to remain calm under pressure.

Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

I like Toastmasters and I want to continue to develop my communication and leadership skills and also to contribute to Toastmasters.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

To support and develop the membership, to grow the number of quality clubs and achieve excellence for the District.
