There was a real rush at the end of September to get renewals into Toastmasters, so well done all Clubs. I appreciate there is a lot to cover in the first months, with Club Success Plans, contests and renewals it is important to remember that to gain Distinguished status of above your need either a minimum of 20 members or a net growth of 3 members at the end of the year.
It is not only important for the Club to get new members to keep the Club vibrant it is also important to retain your members. There has been the extra challenge with the increase in renewals and the short lead time to achieve these at the old rate, but please, if you haven’t done so reach out to members who have not renewed and see if you can get them back.
We have sustained a substantial loss of members and to try and understand how we can reduce this, a district survey for leavers has been created to try and see reasons for leaving, as well as one for new joiners to try and see how we can draw in more members, please can the Club committee get these sent out. A review of the replies will be made available.

There is also a survey for potential New Clubs, we need to build our district membership to continue being a vibrant District and this cannot be done without the help of all members, please complete the survey below with any ideas you have. We will not expect you to organise this yourself, I and my team are here to help you.
Potential New Club Lead
We are also putting together posters which Clubs can use, some are generic some can be adjusted by Clubs for their own information. Details will be sent to Clubs.
