Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader:

I am a Manager in Risk, Regulation and compliance in Bloomberg. I manage 5 teams, 5 teams leaders for in total of 50 people in my group. This demonstrate that i have leadership and organisational skills other than the ability of communicating a vision and related goals and objectives. These skills are extremely relevant for a role as division director.

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

It is part of my job. As a manager now for more than  3 years, it is part of my iob to set a clear direction and vision, define milestones on how to reach that vision, Allocate the right resources for the strategy and then report progress on the strategy.

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

I have a degree in Finance and i am quite well versed in financial markets and financial instruments.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

I have a high level of experience in setting procedures to streamline the tasks of the team i manage.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

You donot have to do anything perfect.There is always a margin for failure. The most important thing is how you develop from that thanks to the constructive feedback you receive.


Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

 I would like to become division director

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

District Mission is building new clubs and supporting all clubs in achieving excellence
The obiectives are:
– 5000 unique members in the District 91 community, experiencing the benefits of our program
– Every member achieves an educational award

I am very energetic, hard working and results oriented. I am open to constructive feedback and I am eager to learn and improve
