What experience do you have in strategic planning?

Communication is Key
When working in a Team it is good to know the SWOT of every team Member
Always worked with a Goal in mind and had a plan and effective decision making

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

Been part of the trio in D92 as CGD.
Managed the budget and awards and recognition for members.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

I have a fair knowledge of developing procedures.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

Taking up different Club Officer Roles has helped me to learn about how to motivate club officers and members to challenge themselves for the role they have committed.
Being a CGD I have learnt that every Member in the District matters most.
To understand, analyse and segment markets where we can generate new club leads and ensure more people benefit by learning from the Toastmasters program. Commit when you can execute else do not.


Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

Serving as a District Leader is a great responsibility and an exciting opportunity. I look forward to help club officers and members develop their own goals and achievements. That’s where I instill a sense of enthusiasm, fidelity and responsibility. Help them convert every guest to a potential member. With years of experience I can mentor members in their speeches, Help them understand the District Mission .Been a mentor to many Toastmasters for years. I would like to offer my services to the District by helping the District grow in terms of member retention and adding clubs.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

Membership Retention – arrange for seasoned Toastmasters to take educational sessions.
Ensuring that each club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members. Help create a strong succession planning.
Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for club and district officers. Education sessions by seasoned Toastmasters.
