Dear Toastmasters, 

Division L invites you to winter session of Club Officers Training. Please use this registration link  to receive the Zoom Meeting link for the CoT. As, a club officer, you are required to attend 2 training sessions in the Toastmaster Year and this is second session of that requirements. 

WHY Club Officer Training (COT) for Experienced Officers

• Your experience, knowledge and skills are of huge value to new Officers which will help build their knowledge and confidence in a new role enabling them to help new members quicker
• Set an example to new / newer officers
• Be updated on any changes TMI or the District have introduced
• Offer ideas to others and even present a session where you are particularly knowledgeable.
• To meet and network with other Officers.
• Understand the tools available to help build and lead a quality club which in turn enables your team to meet members’ needs resulting in member satisfaction and member retention
• Gain new ideas, tips and techniques

The COT will be online from 6:30 - 9:30 and will include topics requested by members.
Sessions will include the new Basecamp, Easyspeak, maintaining interest, building membership, and succession planning, plus an interactive panel session with loads of opportunities to ask questions. Virtual doors open at 6:00 pm for networking. There are no plans for breakout rooms for individual roles this time (we did this in the summer) but there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Club Officer Training session, in person, at the Palestra Building, 197 Blackfriars Rd, London SE1 8NJ on the 29th of January.

Training will run from 18:30 to 21:30, with doors opening at 18:00, and provide you with further skills useful throughout your tenure as a Club Officer and beyond.
